Robert Horne has brought to market a new flat-bed application machine for sign-makers and printers that is said to be cost effective, easy to use, durable and able to improve workflow efficiency. Called the Rapid Applicator, the new unit allows users to apply self-adhesive films and application tape to flat sheets of material including foam board, ACM, foam PVC and acrylic, and to laminate glass.

Materials supplier Robert Horne also states that the solid steel-construction Rapid Applicator features synchronous moving masts, between which the roller sits, making it easier to place material over the coil. The design also includes extendable arms to allow the operator to expand the table's length in order to accommodate media of a larger size.

Technical engineers and sign-makers designed the machine, the company adds, which is also equipped with a tilting transportation system to allow installation in any room with a normal-sized door.
