Adhesive tape manufacturer tesa has released ACXplus, a new constructive bonding product it says is 'new and radically different' in that its patented technology is based on high-capacity acrylates to offer corrosion prevention, clear full-surface bonding and extreme load capacity, says tesa.

ACXplus's viscoelasticity enables it to bond materials with different thermal elongations such as glass and aluminium, and allows it to be used on signs that need to withstand extreme temperatures and high winds, according to tesa.

The company adds that 'the next level' of adhesive tapes such ACXplus as are replacing welding and riveting for reliable bonding.
