Viscom to promote POS at Düsseldorf show

Viscom Düsseldorf will feature a range of dedicated zones including one aimed at retail
Viscom Düsseldorf will demonstrate 'new possibilities' for the retail market, its organising team states, with its dedicated Display/POS World.
The special section of the German show will feature retail-centric technology and concepts, such as screens showing product and price information, lighting, advertising designs and sales room displays. Display/POS World will also be home to the Customised Design Forum, which will include practical examples of retail signage applications and 150 materials and patterns.
In addition, the annual Superstar award will be presented in the Display/POS World area, recognising work from the Short-term, Long-term, International, Digital Signage and Consumer Packaging categories, covering 13 types of exhibits such as shelf displays, floor graphics and information displays.
Viscom says the Düsseldorf show, taking place from October 13th to 15th, will offer 'the full spectrum of visual communication', with around 350 exhibitors. The event will cover sign-making elements, wide-format print and digital signage technology.
