Almost everything inside the Big Buck$ pop-up cafe at FESPA Digital 2012 will be an example of the flexibility of digital print
A pop-up cafe with examples of wide-format digital printing techniques on a range of media will offer visitors to FESPA Digital 2012 'inspiration from print applications in a relaxing atmosphere'.
Inside and outside the Big Buck$ Cafe, tables, chairs, sofas, tiles, wallpaper, textiles, cups, point-of-sale graphics, soft signage and more will all be decorated using various digital printers and techniques. The café will also offer free WiFi.
"Print service providers may already be aware of the importance of looking beyond their print equipment to create innovative applications," says FESPA Digital head of events and new media, Duncan MacOwan. "Our aim is to invite the printer to look at technology with fresh eyes, and from a more commercial and creative angle. Big Buck$ Cafe will give visitors an outstanding real-life example of the diversity and power of print as we are surrounded by print, even when we have a cup of coffee."
More info about the display items will be available on an interactive FESPA website, which will be on display on screens within the Big Buck$ pop-up cafe.
