'Exciting programme' planned for ink-jet conference

The 18th annual European Ink Jet Conference will take place Sheraton Lisboa Hotel and Spa in Lisbon, Portugal
IMI Europe says 'a truly exciting programme' is planned for its annual European Ink Jet Conference in October.
In addition to a session on commercial ink-jet uses on October 27th, the Lisbon event will include an Ink Jet Outlook Seminar which will explore emerging applications. The seminar, held from October 25th to 26th, is aimed at business managers and sales and marketing executives and will look at digital textile printing, product decoration, printed electronics and functional materials.
Also planned is a Theory of Ink Jet Technology course, also held on October 25th and 26th, which will study advances in ink-jet and its technologies. Mike Willis of Pivotal Resources and Dr Alan Hudd of Xennia Technology will lead the course.
This week, IMI also held its Ink Jet Technology Showcase in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. The event included tutorials, speeches and presentations from technology suppliers.
