Canon and Océ say they are showcasing 'the industry's broadest range of production print products and solutions' at drupa 2012
Canon and Océ are presenting their co-developed range of products at drupa, marking the companies' first joint outing since Canon's acquisition of Océ was finalised in February.
Canon and Océ's portfolio is divided into eight market-specific zones: Photo Print Services; Sign and Display; Commercial Print; Industrial Commercial Print; In-House Print; Business Development; Services and Support; and Canon Enterprise Services. Over 100 customer case studies are aimed at giving visitors 'fresh ideas on how to grow their printing business'.
A high-capacity stacker extending the finishing range of the jointly-developed Canon imagePress C7010VPS and C7010VP series and the Océ ColorWave 650 poster printer for the POS market are among the new products launched at drupa. New additions to the Océ ColorStream and JetStream ranges are also making their début, alongside Project Velocity, described as a 'breakthrough' in high-speed large-format digital printing which Canon says can print the 'equivalent height of the Eiffel Tower in half an hour'.
Canon is also highlighting the results of its latest Insight Report, 'The Bigger Picture: Your Customers' View of the Value of Print', which reveals that PSPs need to improve communication with their customer base, offer a consultative approach and demonstrate the ROI of print.
