The Océ CS9350 is aimed at outdoor work
Océ has announced the release of its new CS9300 Series eco-solvent printers, following a preview at FESPA Digital earlier this year. The series is described as a 'refreshed' line, and includes the 1.62m (64") Océ CS9360 and the 1.37m (54") Océ CS9350 that can print at 29sq m and 27.9sq m respectively.
Attilio Mainoli, Océ Display Graphics Systems chief executive, highlights the printers' capabilities in producing outdoor-durable output. "There are still many applications that are well served by eco-solvent printers particularly in the growing out-of-home advertising category, which includes items such as posters, transit advertising and convenience store advertising," he comments.
Users can select an appropriate resolution configuration for the job to reduce ink use and boost throughput, says the manufacturer, while the new models also feature a standard media take-up system and a sheet-off function. In addition, they include Intelligent Interweaving print technology to avoid horizontal and step mismatch banding, and the results of missing or misfiring nozzles.
