Epson released the Epson SureColor SC-S30600 in February 2012
UK-based exhibition services company Dimension 8 says it has tripled print speeds since making 'a significant investment' in a new Epson SureColor SC-S30600 roll-fed wide-format printer this March.
The SureColor SC-S30600 uses Epson's new odourless, nickel-free inkset, UltraChrome GS2, which offers a new yellow formulation for longer lightfastness.
"The big point of differentiation of the SC-S30600 against usual roll-fed printers is the speed," comments Dimension 8's managing director Simon Ridout. "The typical print speed we were getting on our existing machines was 5sq m/hr. The Epson can comfortably achieve speeds of up to 15sq m/hr in production mode and up to 30sq m/hr in high-speed mode. So this has helped our print capacity and flexibility hugely."
Dimension 8 is an approved supplier to several event venues in the UK, and offers a range of exhibition services in addition to full-colour graphics solutions, including electrical and lighting installation, furniture hire and floor coverings.
