MD-TX, or WallTex, meets demand for photographic wallcoverings in domestic environments, says Metamark
Metamark has added MD-TX, also known as WallTex, to its MD-Class digital media range. The 100 percent polyester-based wallcovering material with adhesive is aimed at the photo-mural market and 'anywhere that there's a need to introduce ambience or a measure of impact'.
Compatible with solvent and eco-solvent printing technology, WallTex can be cut into abstract shapes using the same tools as for vinyl substrates, and is supplied on a liner.
Metamark is targeting WallTex at digital printers looking for 'profitable new applications' such as in domestic environments, where the popularity of photo-murals is increasing.
