Roland's new site includes a training room
Wide-format printer manufacturer Roland DG has opened a new showroom in Aldershot, Hampshire, UK, designed to bring demonstrations of its equipment to customers in the south-east region.
The new facility shares a site with Roland's transport providers Carry Gently, meaning there is always stock available for customers to see. Roland previously occupied a space in Slough, but says it has outgrown it.
"These days we're finding increasing numbers of potential customers want to visit a demonstration facility within easy reach of the south-east," explains Peter Kettle, head of business development, Roland DG. "The convenience of being based in Aldershot and co-locating with our transport and logistics specialist, Carry Gently, simplifies stock availability even at short notice. We're now positioned perfectly to service new and existing clients who want comprehensive demonstrations of all our product families."
The Aldershot premises complement Roland's Creative Centre at its Clevedon headquarters, with an additional area for 3D applications including engraving.
