Roland DG (UK) says its informal, café-style stand at Sign and Digital UK 'paid dividends' with record numbers of new members signing up to the Roland Forum online community. 'Plenty of attention' was paid to the new white ink configuration on the VersaCamm VS and VersaStudio, adds Roland.

"Some visitors were understandably cautious about the immediate future but the prevailing attitude really was positive," says Brett Newman, technical director, Roland DG (UK). "Many arrived keen to explore new technology that could help them to expand and improve revenue streams."

Roland was also represented by nine resellers at the show.
