Ilford has announced R Rauch and its subsidiary company Kalle ReproMedia Handels will distribute the BioMedia range of recyclable substrates to the German and Austrian wide-format graphics markets respectively.

The manufacturer states that the deals were struck at this year's drupa printing industry show in Germany, where Ilford BioMedia demonstrated partnerships with machine manufacturers including Epson, Ricoh, EFI and Roland DG.

BioMedia is marketed as 'an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional graphic display materials', and is both recyclable and biodegradable. Rauch will offer the media alongside its other substrate supplies.
