Roland DG has revealed that the winners of a competition launched at this year's Sign and Digital UK to win a place on a Roland Academy course chose to attend sessions on application and finishing techniques.

The winners learnt about the preparation and application of vinyl and basic lamination and mounting methods for sign-making, says Roland.

"Often it is the application and finishing tasks of sign-making that concern new customers most, from how to put lettering on a sign or vehicle, to how to apply graphics to windows," explains Marc Busby, Roland Academy trainer.
