Energy group Total’s UK subsidiary has signed a print management contract with Charterhouse, which will see the company handle point-of-sale requirements and other work.
Charterhouse will begin the contract by carrying out an audit of each of Total UK’s retail sites in order to drive efficiency in the supply chain and ensure promotional material can be collated accurately for individual locations, which intends to decrease the amount of out-of-date work and calls for additional materials. The print company will also provide studio, fulfilment services and print management for Total UK’s 800 Total-branded service stations.
“We’re delighted to have won the Total UK contract,” comments Anthony Hawkins, board director at Charterhouse. “We have some great ideas to help them cut unnecessary waste from the supply chain and we’re also looking forward to taking their POS to the next level.”
Michael Crane, corporate purchasing project leader at Total UK, adds: “We were keen to work with Charterhouse as their team presented a raft of innovative ideas in relation to POS, local area marketing and improving efficiency. We were also particularly impressed with their end-to-end approach which includes us having an on-site team.”
