Silver Bullet's Matthew Kingsford is one of the first UK companies to purchased the new Epson SureColor SC-S30600 printer
Retail and event display graphics producer Silver Bullet has established a 'walk-in' wide-format print service point in Sandy, Bedfordshire aimed at supplying signage to small local companies.
The service includes a new Epson SureColor SC-S30600 1.6m-wide roll-fed ink-jet printer supplied by Spandex, and a Summa plotter and laminator.
"It's always been our ambition to open a chain of print shops and take control of digital print services in house," explains Silver Bullet managing director Matthew Kingsford. "We want the best of both worlds: the ability to produce some fast turnaround, high-quality signage products in-house, while still working with our partners to supply litho and screen print.
"In addition to servicing major retail clients with European-wide projects, we can now also provide a service to smaller local companies on a walk-in basis."
The Epson SureColor SC-S30600 offers a maximum speed of 29.4sq m/hr and features a 'unique' jack device to enable one person to load heavy rolls of media and media tensioning accessible from both the front and back of the machine. Epson also cites the printer's environmentally friendly production and low cost of ownership.
