The Printed Image's Colin Culliton with the HP Scitex FB7500, installed in July
The Printed Image, a Dublin, Ireland-based company with clients in the consumer goods market, has purchased an HP Scitex FB7500 which HP states is running two shifts at full capacity in the busy pre-Christmas period.
The HP Scitex FB7500 digital printer can run at speeds of up to 500sq m/hr and at resolutions of up to 1,200dpi. It also features a three-quarters automatic loading system designed to limit idle time and HP Scitex X2 piezoelectric print-heads that can be replaced quickly, says HP.
"Our FB7500 has allowed us to increase throughput and to offer a fast turnaround service without compromising on print quality, even on tricky substrates like corrugated media," explains Colin Culliton, managing director, The Printed Image. "Jobs which previously took us two days to complete using traditional methods of production can now be printed and delivered all on the same day."
The Printed Images produces work such as POS materials, outdoor signage, vehicle wraps and exhibition graphics.
