UK-based Retail Services Group has launched a new venture, Retail Print, a provider of bespoke retail graphics. The division is the result of investing in drupa-launched technology including a Kongsberg i-XP44 from EskoArtwork and a swissQprint Impala flat-bed printing system.
"Because of their joint capabilities we only needed to invest in two systems making the move much more cost effective," says Retail Print managing director James Dixon. "The Impala can UV varnish and the faster Kongsberg can complete all the cutting at high speed which means there is no need for guillotining or any other finishing processes."
