Robert Horne has sold an HP Scitex FB500 direct-to-substrate wide-format printer to Reading, UK-based Glendining Signs. 

The sign company decided on a UV-curable printer – rather than an additional solvent machine, which would require more staff – after visiting Robert Horne's Digital Suite demo centre. Glendining Signs has now extended its offerings to include work featuring white ink, and reduced costs for existing work.

"We will now be able to keep a competitive edge with keen pricing, supreme quality and turnaround, as well as exploring new avenues of business," says Chris Lake, operations director, Glendining Signs.
