The Little Book of Commonsense aims to address 'guilt' people may feel about using paper
International Paper has announced its 'Little Book' series – which aims to inform about the sustainability of paper – has been shortlisted in the Promotional Campaign of the Year category in the 2011 Pulp and Paper International (PPI) Awards.
The series includes The Little Green Book, which is intended to eliminate commonly held myths and misconceptions about paper, and The Little Book of Commonsense, which serves as a reminder of 'why paper is as good, as relevant and as right today as ever', says International Paper.
"These awards are regarded as a universal benchmark of quality within the paper and pulp industry," says David Higgins, director of communications and government relations for International Paper EMEA. "Being shortlisted together with such competition is an honour and is the culmination of a lot of hard work by our employees around the world."
The winners of the PPI Awards will be announced at a ceremony in Brussels, Belgium on November 15th.
