Hybrid Services, distributor of Mimaki printing equipment in the UK and Ireland, says it was 'delighted' to see the Mimaki JV34-260 'baby grand-format' ink-jet printer receive an award in the Best of 2011 contest at Viscom Düsseldorf.

The Mimaki JV34-260 picked up a prize in the Large Format Print category, with the international judging panel describing it as 'a real workhorse', able to provide a high volume of work for the digital printing and advertising market. The machine can print onto textiles and substrates up to 2.6m wide, suitable for outdoor-durable applications, explains Hybrid.

John de la Roche, national sales manager for Hybrid Services, comments: "We are delighted that the Mimaki JV34-260 has been recognised by Viscom's judging panel and the award confirms our belief that the machine is a true printing thoroughbred."

The printer is supplied with Mimaki's RasterLink Pro RIP software and an optional bulk ink system.

The Best of 2011 awards were held during Viscom Düsseldorf earlier this month, recognising the offerings of the show's exhibitors.
