Believe In Tomorrow House's new exterior graphics, donated by Signs By Tomorrow and 3M, are expected to last five years
US sign-making chain Signs By Tomorrow has awarded Believe In Tomorrow House, a healthcare facility in Baltimore, a building wrap as the prize of its recent competition.
Signs By Tomorrow installed a full-colour exterior wrap, worth $3,500 (£2,240) free of charge, using materials donated by 3M Commercial Graphics. The building wrap features words such as 'Healing', 'Comfort' and 'Hope' as well as the logo of Believe In Tomorrow Children's Foundation, operator of Believe In Tomorrow House, which provides housing for paediatric bone marrow transplant patients and their families.
The contest attracted over 100 entries, from which five finalists were chosen by Signs By Tomorrow. The public were then invited to select the winner, opting for 'Believe in Beating Cancer'.
"We really wanted to get the word out about what Believe In Tomorrow does and what we're doing here in the community," explains Brian Morrison, Believe In Tomorrow's founder and chief executive.
"We think the wrap is going to help us do exactly that and really, provide some visibility to a facility that really is not very visible within the community."
