The Xaar 1001 GS12 is engineered to print richer colours on ceramic tiles

A new Xaar 1001 ink-jet print-head model has been released, the GS12, enabling manufacturers of ceramic tiles 'to achieve deep and rich colours' at twice the speed of the Xaar 1001 GS6, says Xaar.

The new GS12 jets twelve- to 84-picolitre drops for deeper colours, compared to the GS6's six- to 42-picolitre drops more suitable for paler shades and detailed designs, and features Xaar's TF Technology for reliability with low maintenance needs.

The new print-head will be shown for the first time at Ceramics China 2012, from May 28th to 31st in Guangzhou.
