Sophie Matthews-Paul talks print at FESPA
On behalf of all the team at Output, I'd like to welcome you to Talk Print!, an exclusive area where industry thought leaders highlight and discuss the key issues and possibilities in the wide-format printing world.
But Talk Print! is, most importantly, an area where your thoughts and questions about this exciting industry's direction of travel are the real fuel. Whatever you have to say about the future of wide-format production, please use our comments form to get in touch. We'll do our best to publish all responses and explore them in depth.
We're grateful to HP for sponsoring this dynamic area, and to our insightful industry experts Sophie Matthews-Paul and Lorenzo Villa, who will be leading the discussions. A number of contributors from HP will also let you in on their unique perceptions of the industry.
We've already got plenty of thought-provoking pieces to start you off – Sophie talks about why inks cost what they do and looks into the value of warranties and guarantees, as well as how you can get the best out of your existing equipment. Meanwhile, Lorenzo asks how many events we need on the European calendar, and HP's Stephen Goddard reckons you could find new revenue streams by helping big brands produce more ecologically sound displays.
This is an exciting industry with plenty to discuss as we move into the second decade of this millennium. So, welcome to Output and let's Talk Print!
