This year's German Viscom show will seek to answer questions on the future of the display industry at its Frankfurt exhibition in November.
'What will the display of the future look like?' and 'Which new media will be used at the POS in the future?' will be significant topics at the show, which will feature a new area called Display/POS World.
Viscom director Petra Lassahn explains: "For our exhibitors and our visitors the concentration of the exhibitors from the field of display/point-of-sale in a segment of their own is an additional asset and ideally complements our established core segments [of] advertising technology, lighting technology, digital and individual printing as well as finishing technology and digital signage."
According to Viscom, a visitor survey carried out in 2009 indicates the new Display/POS World will be of significant interest, as 30 percent of respondents stated they attend the exhibition to see new POS products and to gain specific information on displays.
Viscom Frankfurt will take place in the Messe on November 4th to 6th.
