Sign and Digital UK will mark 25 years this March
Sign and graphics trade show Sign and Digital UK will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year, and is asking for help from exhibitors and visitors in putting together a gallery showing how the industry has changed in the last quarter of a century.
The organiser of the event, taking place from March 27th to 29th, is calling for 'living examples' and photographs of machinery, and pictures of industry members 'wearing really bad clothes, sporting a dodgy haircut or a Magnum PI moustache' to highlight 'the things that have really stood out since 1987'.
"We want to celebrate a quarter of a century of innovation and creativity within our industry and we want to celebrate it with our visitors," says Alan Caddick, marketing manager, Sign and Digital UK.
"We need your help to put together a 25-year gallery that will show iconic machinery and images that help represent the industry over the past 25 years."
The gallery will be included in a dedicated exhibition space on the show floor.

Somewhere in my archives I must have photographs of every Sign UK show since the start, having been to all of them, plus the exhibitions at Epsom racecourse and early offerings in Kensington High Street. I must go on a search and see what goodies I can dig out.
