People of all ages are encouraged to get active via videos accessed through Signs Express Nottingham's signs
The Nottingham centre of Signs Express has produced a range of durable, anti-vandal signs featuring QR codes for outdoor playground supplier Proludic, to support the Sports Legacy Zone project.
Sports Legacy Zone is aimed at bringing communities together to become healthier and more active, and uses 'Virtual Coach' challenge videos, accessible via smartphone-scanned QR codes, to help coach people of all abilities and ages.
"Signs Express worked with us to deliver the best solution possible that so far has stood the test of time in a historically troublesome area," explains Kevin Causer, marketing executive at Proludic.
"We also designed an additional sign to welcome visitors and inform them how to use the signs scattered around the play area. Even though we had to change the artwork just as the sign had been manufactured, Signs Express made the changes with minimal fuss."
He adds: "We have used Signs Express a number of times since and will continue to do so in the future."
