The BA fleet sports a feather design converted from Zünd plotter-produced stencils
British Airways's graphics team has transformed a fleet of aircraft into 'doves' with a Zünd PN M1200 plotter, to support the BA Great Britons programme's celebration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The 'Dove' aircraft installation project, managed by BA Graphics Department engineer Phil Purbrick, included converting the design into stencils with the Zünd PN M1200 so the bird's 'feathers' could be spray-painted onto each plane's sides.
"The BA Doves aircraft is definitely one of the most intricate projects that I have been involved with," Purbrick comments.
