The agreement with Waitrose will see Pierhouse provide a range of signage to the supermarket chain
Supermarket chain Waitrose has selected the strategic signage management platform provided by Pierhouse, it has been announced. It is the first time Waitrose has appointed a single company for the work, according to the retail specialist.
Pierhouse's solution NetTickIT will deliver the signage products already in use at the supermarket's branches such as POS advertising, shelf edge and information tickets, plus potentially offer further signage and communications systems such as electronic shelf edge labels and digital media displays.
Waitrose also specified it wanted the capability of QR code integration, and Pierhouse may also provide social media and mobile technology for further customer accessibility.
"We chose NetTickIT because it best met our current and potential future requirements," explains James Stacey, Waitrose project manager for the strategic signage management system. "The quality and user friendliness of NetTickIT also made it stand out."
Malcolm Wicks, marketing director at Pierhouse, adds: "We love retail and have enjoyed working with the Waitrose team to understand their requirements. We […] look forward to continuing our long association with Waitrose and working closely with the Waitrose team to ensure that they take full advantage of the capabilities of NetTickIT."
