UK POS seeks independent retailers' best summer window displays

The Independent Retailer competition is designed to encourage creativity in window displays celebrating a 'big summer for Britain', says UK POS
Point-of-sale materials supplier UK POS is offering independent retailers the chance to win an iPad for the best celebratory summer window display to show support for Independent Retailer Month in July.
UK POS is encouraging retailers to take advantage of the excitement surrounding the Olympics, other sporting celebrations and the Diamond Jubilee, and 'go all out' with their window displays. Recent research shows that consumers would be more likely to visit a shop with a 'Made in Britain' display, says UK POS.
Retailers can enter by uploading a photo of their display to the UK POS Facebook page, or by tweeting a picture to the company's Twitter feed. The closing date for entries is July 31st and the winner, judged by Jason Leslie and Debra Jamieson of UK POS, will be announced in August.
"We pride ourselves on supplying the very best point of sale materials for retailers and this competition is aiming to reward the creativity in the independent sector," says Jamieson, sales and marketing director at UK POS. "We’re urging independent retailers from across the country to get involved and are looking forward to seeing the entries."
