Signs Express's Manchester centre wrapped a bus and numerous other vehicles for Sky
Signs Express Manchester has completed a branding project for Sky, changing the colour of its Tour de France 2011 support vehicles from blue to green to help promote Sky's Rainforest Rescue initiative with WWF.
Twelve vehicles including the team bus, lorry, support commercial vehicles and cars, plus bikes and kit, were rebranded in time for the first stage of the cycling race on July 2nd. The graphics include forest scene silhouettes in green vinyl over a contrasting black background, with the message 'Working together to help save 1 billion trees'. Rainforest Rescue aims to raise money to save trees in the state of Acre in north-west Brazil.
"As a team we saw the opportunity to change our bikes and kit to green as the perfect way to raise awareness of Sky Rainforest Rescue amongst the Tour de France's millions of world-wide fans," explains Helen Mortimer, operations manager, Team Sky. "We are grateful to Signs Express [for their] support on this project and for their level of professionalism in delivering the project to their usual high standard and at such short notice."
