The winner of Avery's wrapping competition featured a cartoon
Avery Dennison is showing 'the ultimate portfolio of creative wrapping achievements' on its Perfect Wrap website, including the judges' favourite entry in its 'Wrap and Win' competition.
The judging panel, headed up by Rachel Oakley, senior product manager of Avery Dennison Graphics and Reflective Solutions, chose Davide Mancinelli's firemen cartoon as the winning design, who takes home a prize of a 3D LED TV for his efforts.
Contestants were given a free linear metre of Avery Supreme Wrapping Film along with an Avery Squeegee Pro and asked to wrap an 'unusual object' of their choice. Pictures uploaded to the gallery were then assessed by the judges, who also listed Karsten Vodder's 'Have a Seat' toilet and Ulrike Solga's 'Coffee Maker' wrap among their favourites.
"Contestants certainly proved, with their wrap entries, just how versatile and conformable Avery Supreme Wrapping Film can be, regardless of the nature of the application substrate," comments Oakley. "We were also extremely surprised and delighted by the variety of objects contestants chose to wrap. They showed real imagination and creativity."
The full list of winners and pictures of their entries can be found on the Perfect Wrap website.
