UK POS's new barrier systems allow the addition of printed banners
UK Point of Sale (UK POS) has launched a new range of barrier systems to help retailers control queues in the Christmas and January sales shopping period. The products can be combined with printed banners to provide an additional form of POS advertising, says the company.
UK POS states that 'taming tired, angry shoppers' with barrier systems is key for retailers to maintain a 'cool, calm and collected' atmosphere in the queuing area and throughout the shop.
"Barriers systems are an essential piece of kit for retailers throughout the year, but at Christmas and throughout the January sales it becomes more important than ever to manage customer footfall through your store to make sure everybody leaves happy and stress-free with the intention of returning," says Debra Jamieson, sales and marketing director, UK POS.
"We've been working more closely with retailers throughout the last year and this is a range that has been launched due to input from existing customers so we're looking forward to getting more systems set up in store."
The range includes the Retractable Queuing Barrier Post with a stainless steel finish, and the Pole and Rope Barrier, which is described as 'high quality and durable'.
