UK POS's breadbasket holder allows the use of rustic baskets in the supermarket's bakery
A bespoke breadbasket holder has been introduced into one of the UK's leading supermarkets, says its manufacturer UK POS.
The holder allows bakery products to be stored in 'rustic-style' baskets while still displaying product information and prices.
The product was researched and developed to a specific brief throughout the early part of 2010 and will now be used widely in basket displays across the UK, says the company.
Commenting on the new point-of-sale item, sales and marketing director Debra Jamieson says: "Our client base consists primarily of retailers, which means that we are often tasked with designing bespoke solutions to help our customers market their products within a mixture of displays and in a variety of environments.
"This was no exception and gave the team an opportunity to use their expertise to meet a specific criteria."
The introduction of the point-of-sale holders follows the recent launch of UK POS's new brochure.
