ArtiosCAD features a tab and slot assembly tool for POP displays
EskoArtwork has released a new version of the ArtiosCAD software, suitable for sign and display producers, which offers new features to help with designing products with special display materials. The entire supply chain is also covered by the solution, says Esko.
"We want to make our customers' production workflow more efficient," explains Richard Deroo, EskoArtwork product manager, Structural Design. "New features in ArtiosCAD will help converters demonstrate more efficient palletisation of packaging and produce special die-making tools easier."
For sign-makers, ArtiosCAD's features include support for Re-board and V-notch line types, and a tab and slot assembly tool using 3D visuals, suitable for POP displays. Esko's Curved Creases technology also allows designers to work with 3D visualisations of curved folds and cuts, while the Mate tool enables 'the simple assembly and visualisation' of parts and folds, EskoArtwork adds.
ArtiosCAD is also aimed at packaging designers, as it is suitable for all corrugated and folding carton products.
