Ultra Board is available in a choice of edges
Dufaylite is now offering its Ultra Board product in two edge colours, giving buyers the choice between black or white paper-based edging. The new 250gsm black version has been released due to customer demand, the company says, adding that its construction enables single-route recycling.
The honeycomb-structured Ultra Board is 100 percent recyclable, and has found popularity in the signage and print markets, says Dufaylite. The black option joins the existing white paper-edged and plastic-edged products, as chief executive Tony Moscrop explains.
"While some users of Ultra Board love to see the honeycomb centre in their applications to highlight its recyclable components, others want a sealed and clean finish to their board," he says.
“The plastic extrusion we have always produced can be taken off and reused indefinitely and contains recyclable content, but [was] not appealing to those who want a completely paper-based sign or stand. So, we produced the paper-based card edge to complement our board's inner and face, allowing users to recycle through one route without any fuss or confusion."
