The brands Nationwide Platforms, Panther, EPL Skylift and Lavendon Access Services will be unite as Nationwide Platforms
UK access rental companies Nationwide Platforms and Panther and vehicle mount supplier EPL Skylift have been unified under the name of Nationwide Platforms. The companies previously operated under the parent name of Lavendon Access Services.
More than 11,300 powered access platforms from the four brands will make up Nationwide Platforms's fleet from February 1st. They will be based at 43 depots across the country.
"Our customers will continue to do business with the same powered access specialists they have always dealt with," explains Mike Potts, chief executive, Nationwide Platforms. "Now we'll be able to offer them access to our entire fleet, allowing us to make sure they have access to the right product, at the right place, every time."
"In addition to this, we are investing up to £25m in new equipment for 2012, supplementing our already extensive range of powered access equipment," Potts continues.
"We look forward to continuing to bring the highest standards of working at height practice to our customers, whether they look to us for platform rentals, safety training, machine sales or industry leading product innovations."
