Kongcrete says it received positive feedback to the launch of Q-Set at Sign and Digital UK. Q-Set is described as a high-strength, lightweight alternative to concrete, suitable for sign post installation.

Developed in Canada and designed to withstand freezing temperatures, Q-Set is supplied as a two-part composite backfill which is mixed, without water, to produce a substance that can expand and set to half of its full strength in three minutes, and 100 percent within two hours, says Kongcrete.

It is available in two grades – Q-Set 200 and Q-Set 250 – and in 0.7 or 1.1kg bags or 2.5kg tubs.
