Cielle highlights the Kappa's robustness
Cielle has announced the introduction of a new multi-functional pantograph aimed at signage and visual communications operators, digital printers and the paper industry. Called Kappa, the new unit offers a 'robust structure' for stability during operation, says Cielle.
Among the Kappa's features, says Cielle, is a cutting facility for vinyl and 'all' other materials used in signage production, using a vibrating and non-vibrating blade. It uses Flying Precision Cutting technology and includes a high-precision digital camera and Cielle software for the identification of cutting reference points on the plate, allowing profile trimming and production of a number of display types.
The pantograph also offers folding capabilities and a moulding option for plastics and metals, with its multi-functional head featuring a vectorial oscillating spindle, and an automatic device for Braille.
The Kappa also has an automatic nine-position tool change, a software-managed extraction level and an electronic keypad, allowing processing on uneven surfaces up to 2 x 3m.
