Among Icon's carbon-conscious activities is a sustainable signage disposal service
Branding and signage company Icon has received certification from the Carbon Trust after meeting its carbon reduction standards. In addition, Icon has achieved the Carbon Neutral Standard by attaining a net zero carbon footprint through balancing the measured amount of carbon it releases with an equivalent amount isolated, cut out or offset.
"With the embracing of these recognised standards our clients can be confident in the knowledge that the service we provide them is coming from an environmentally responsible and conscious company without it impacting on their business activities in any way," says Andrew Hodson, sales and marketing director at Icon.
"We are confident that this latest certification will bring tangible business benefits and help us to win new business. Eco-efficiencies make both commercial and ethical sense, and can have a positive impact on both staff and clients."
Icon was acquired recently by Chime Communications, becoming part of its Sports Marketing division.
