William Smith claims the RollsRoller can help sign-makers achieve production time-savings of up to 80 percent

Eventsigns, a Birmingham, UK-based printer specialising in exhibition graphics production, has commented on the enhancement of its production capabilities and profitability following the installation of a new RollsRoller flat-bed applicator from distributor William Smith.

"The RollsRoller has considerably reduced the time it takes to mount large graphics," says Eventsigns founder and director Vaughan Allcock. "Last year, we undertook a large exhibition graphics project and the RollsRoller, due to its speed of production, single-person operation and reliability, enabled us to complete the job within an incredibly short time frame."

Eventsigns, founded in 1984, says that besides speed and efficiency the RollsRoller flat-bed applicator has helped eliminate air bubbles and creasing when applying digital prints to Correx and Forex foamboard panels.

The machine itself, now installed over 1,000 times throughout Europe according to William Smith, is available in 18 configurations within the Standard Duty, Premium Grade and Traffic signage application categories and features like extension tables and height adjustment lend to its overall usability and flexibility. The RollsRoller is suitable for applications of self-adhesive materials to most substrates of thicknesses up to 70mm.
