TheMagicTouch's award-winning ORD 8.1 transfer paper is suitable for signage, trophies and other applications
TheMagicTouch has commented on the 'massive potential' of decorated glass and acrylic for the signage market, as well as for awards, trophies and photo gifts, following the recognition the company's digital transfer paper received at the recent Trophex exhibition.
The new Opaque Reverse Decoration (ORD) 8.1 transfer paper won the Best in New Technology award at the trade fair, which took place at Birmingham's NEC in January. TheMagicTouch explains that the product allows 'a comprehensive range' of glass and acrylic-based products to be decorated in full colour 'easily and quickly'.
The process includes using a traditional transfer heat press to apply and fix a laser-printed ORD 8.1 transfer paper image to the base of the acrylic or glass in under a minute, before being trimmed and prepared to produce a 'high-class look and feel'. An optional finish effect can be produced, using a self-adhesive black flock material on the back of the product, TheMagicTouch adds.
ORD 8.1 is available in boxes of 50 A4-format sheets, with sponge applicators and full processing instructions.
