Sean Brickell has appeared on television and radio during his career

The keynote speaker of the upcoming British Association for Print and Communication (BAPC) conference has been revealed as Sean Brickell, entrepreneur, speaker and author of book about confidence building, Don't Shoot – I'm Not Well!

This year's annual conference will take place in Elstree, Hertfordshire, on October 20th and 21st. Brickell will demonstrate ways to boost personal and professional confidence to the printers and suppliers in attendance using practical and psychological techniques, says BAPC.

"I am delighted to attend the BAPC conference 2011 and have the privilege of being their keynote speaker," comments Brickell. "I hope to energise, entertain and motivate the audience. Confidence is a key to success and to life and I can demonstrate to delegates how to become fully charged to face life's daily challenges."

BAPC chairman Sidney Bobb, adds: "The BAPC is most fortunate that Sean has agreed to participate in our conference this year after a number of past requests. He will add wit, charm, and knowledge to the event. We hope the 2011 conference will surpass the high standards we have consistently achieved thanks to the support of our industry sponsors. We are looking forward to a high attendance to listen to Sean."

I have had the pleasure of Sean hosting an event I attended. Very smartly turned out, good speaking voice, if the PA failed he would not need a bullhorn. Unfortunately from the get-go I found the repetition of "beastly and beguiling" followed by what my nieces would call "cheesy" stories, tainted the day.
Expect to hear, tall stories of being held at gunpoint, how being ticklish gets you through security. A Kind of lame David Niven , with some flim flam James Bond for good measure. Never quite understood the entrepreneur approach, I thought more freelance jounalist.
