COT Holdings CEO Nigel Worme says the company is seeing 'huge gains in efficiencies' since upgrading to EFI Monarch
Barbadian commercial and packaging printer COT Holdings has installed a suite of EFI software products as part of an 'operational improvement plan', says EFI. COT Holdings is now running EFI Monarch, PrintFlow and PrintSite Internal, and is also in the process of installing Digital StoreFront and Auto-Count.
Formerly a Prism user, COT Holdings chose EFI's Monarch MIS and PrintFlow to streamline operations and reduce costs, and is using PrinterSite Internal to provide more accurate pricing and quicker estimates to its customers across the Caribbean.
"EFI Monarch is a very powerful, extraordinarily robust system, and we’re seeing huge gains in efficiencies, especially on the scheduling front with the integration to EFI PrintFlow," says Nigel Worme, chief executive and managing director of COT Holdings. "PrintFlow gives us a clear picture of the shop floor workflow, without the need to print and post schedules, which used to take up a lot of production management’s time each day."
Worme adds that the company is looking forward to getting Digital StoreFront and Auto-Count up and running. "Digital StoreFront will allow us to maximise our digital equipment investments […] while Auto-Count will further streamline our shop floor workflow," he comments.
