Glasgow-based J Thomson Colour Printers has installed an HP Indigo 5500 press, its second purchase of the model. The family-owned company found its first Indigo boosted capacity, enabling it to print more output such as magazines, brochures, annual reports, prospectuses and direct mail.

"We decided to install a second HP Indigo press 5500 because demand for our digital print services is still growing," said Kevin Creechan, managing director of J Thomson Colour Printers, which intends to increase its offerings, possibly by adding the HP Indigo white ink option kit to the Indigo.
