Print and paper association Picon is to host 18 British print suppliers in 800sq m of stand space across five halls at drupa 2012 in Düsseldorf, Germany from May 3rd to 16th.

Picon represents companies providing litho and digital print, pre- and post-press services, software and ancillaries and this diversity will be represented in the association's presence at drupa.

"Exhibiting can be expensive, and without the economies of scale that Picon can leverage, meaningful participation would be beyond the budgets of many smaller suppliers. Yet these are the businesses that will help bring about the export-led recovery the government is hoping for," says Picon chairman Peter Morris.

"As the world’s major print show, drupa is rightly regarded as a ‘must go’ event for UK printers, a great opportunity to see at first-hand the technologies that are shaping the print industry. But it’s also a vital event for many UK suppliers: a platform to showcase their products to existing and potential customers, and strengthen and expand their distribution and dealer networks."
