Kodak invests in social media with new appointment

Gill Beard has taken on the role with immediate effect

Kodak has appointed Gill Beard as the technology company's new European manager for commercial business public relations and social media. Beard will manage pan-regional communications, via both traditional and digital channels, from her base in Hemel Hempstead, UK.

"With the popularity of digital media and social channels, messaging has to be fast, timely and effective," comments Beard. "I will be using my experience to work with a blend of coverage in traditional trade outlets in harness with online opportunities."

Beard has previously held the positions of both UK consumer and corporate public relations manager for Kodak
