Digital Signage Expo (USA) 2011

May 3rd – 16th 2012, Düsseldorf, Germany
Grabbing the baton from 2010's Ipex is the other print fair behemoth: drupa. The German show is so big it even has its own theme song, as well as plenty for the wide-format market.

Screenmedia Expo returns in 2012 with more place-based technology showcases and presentations on how it can work with marketing campaigns.

International Conference Digital Signage Trends 2012

A two-day forum covering the use of digital signage in Poland, in particular for advertising. The conference will be presented in both Polish and English.
2013 China International Ceramic Industry Exposition (Ceramics China 2013)

Exhibitors including EFI-owned Cretaprint will represent the ink-jet ceramics printing portion of the market at this veteran show.

Outdoor Advertising Convention
June 8th – 9th 2012, Mumbai, India
An expo, awards scheme and conference celebrating all things OOH, from LED signage to street furniture. This year there's a political leaning as delegates are urged to 'Disrupt the Status Quo' to change the way the industry is governed in India.

Kiosk Europe Expo and Digital Signage Expo 2012

After five years in Essen, this double act for the European digital signage and self-service market is relocating to Berlin in 2012. The 2011 show was said to be a success, with a number of exhibitors returning with larger stands next time.

euroLED 2012

The whole LED supply chain will be represented at this show, including products for sign lighting.

The four-part annual NBM Show is designed to help attendees grow their businesses in the markets of signs and digital graphics, awards and engraving, and printed apparel. To this end, each event features an Education Conference.
June 25th – 29th 2012, Antwerp, Belgium
Four days covering a variety of digital printing topics in six courses, including the manufacture of inks, colour management, and the theory of ink-jet technology.
July 11th 2012, London, UK
The winners of this contest, recognising young people in the print industry, will receive their awards at a ceremony at the House of Lords. The deadline for entries is May 31st.
September 3rd – 4th 2012, London, UK
A new show for a range of media professionals from the team behind Ipex, aimed at demonstrating the links between print, video, social media, and a host of other disciplines.
IMI Ink Jet Technology Showcase 2012
September 5th – 6th 2012, Chicago, USA
The eleventh annual conference for those in the ink-jet industry.
Screen Print India 2012
September 5th – 7th 2012, Mumbai, India
Output's content partner Specialist Printing Worldwide is a supporter of this show, which covers textiles and digital printing as well as, of course, screen-printing.
September 20th – 22nd 2012, Mexico City, Mexico
Half of the floor space for FESPA's Mexico show was filled back in September 2011 so it's expected to be a busy one, with environmental products predicted to be a talking point.
VIIE Sydney 2012, PrintCom Expo 2012, Retail 2012
September 24th – 26th 2012, Sydney, Australia
VIIE Sydney, said to be 'the southern hemisphere’s largest exhibition for the sign, screen and related industries' is co-located with PrintCom Expo 2012, Retail 2012, POPAI's Marketing at Retail and the Printovation Awards for a three-day mega-show.

September 25th – 27th 2012, Paris, France
The French leg of the Viscom trade shows will return to its new home just outside the city. It'll have an urban edge though, with an expected repeat of the Imag'in the City demonstration space.
September 26th – 27th 2012, Berlin, Germany
A new trade show that 'focuses on good, sustainable business', launched by Frazer Chesterman and Marcus Timson following their exit from FESPA. It's expected to cover a range of printing applications from interiors to packaging.
October 4th – 6th 2012, Milan, Italy
The Italian Viscom show will include a range of exhibitors, kit and applications from the wide-format print, sign-making, digital signage and production print markets – in short, the visual communications sector.
October 18th – 20th 2012, Las Vegas, USA
The Specialty Printing and Imaging Technology Association's trade show will return in October to present more technology showcases and educational offerings to the North American graphics market.

As the name suggests, the Spanish edition of the four-part Viscom programme has an emphasis on signs, but all pockets of the visual communications sector will be represented.

The Irish graphics market can enjoy two shows in one in Dublin in 2012. It's been a while since the last Sign and Digital Ireland and Print Ireland combo in 2009, so it'll be interesting to see how the market has changed.

October 25th – 27th 2012, Frankfurt, Germany
Viscom's German show takes a turn in Frankfurt after a successful 2011 event in Düsseldorf. It will once again include Digital Signage World and the Viscom Awards, recognising exciting projects from across the visual communications field.
Labelexpo India
October 29th – November 1st 2012, New Delhi, India
Attendance at the 2010 show was up by over a quarter compared to 2008, which may be a sign of a growing market in India that could be in printers' best interest to explore.
Customer Engagement Technology World
November 7th – 8th 2012, New York City, USA
Following March's CETW in San Francisco, New York will host the trade show combining retail strategy with technology.
November 15th – 16th 2012, London, UK
An event aimed at gathering the wide-format industry together for sharing ideas and forging relationships.

Self-adhesive labelling industry association FINAT will encourage members of its Young Managers Club (YMC) to 'challenge the future!' at the 2012 world congress.
Integrated Systems Europe
January 29th – 30th 2013, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
A show dedicated to the AV and electronics systems industry, including digital signage integrators. The 2012 show was the biggest yet so the pressure's on for 2013.
February 25th – 28th 2013, Las Vegas, USA
DSE 2012 was the largest to date, so the next one's got a lot to live up to. Fortunately it shows signs of growing and growing, with educational and awards schemes running alongside the trade show.
FESPA Brasil 2013, ExpoPrint Digital 2013
March 13th – 16th 2013, São Paulo, Brazil
Wide-format organisation FESPA has teamed up with ExpoPrint Digital to create double the content in São Paulo.

The big FESPA show comes to the UK in 2013, with a host of international companies among the British exhibitors taking the opportunity to reach the wide-format and textile printing industry.

November 13th – 14th 2013, Cologne, Germany
Billed as the only dedicated show for the industrial printing market, this new event from the organiser of EcoPrint is set to include digital ink-jet and 3D printing technologies.
TBC, autumn 2013, Birmingham, UK
A brand new digital print show from the organiser of Sign and Digital UK, that aims to be a business opportunity as much as a place to see new kit. Postponed from the original date in September 2012.
February 16th – 20th 2014, Düsseldorf, Germany
EuroShop covers the whole retail market, including shopfitting, POS equipment and displays, so it's a great place to catch up with the latest trends and developments.
March 26th – April 2nd 2014, London, UK
Ipex will leave its former home of the NEC behind for a new era at the Excel in London in 2014. How this will affect the show remains to be seen, but expect the usual hotbed of wide-format print technology releases and demos.

Thanks for the update! Looking forward to meet other australian signmakers at the Visual Impact Image Expo! There's also UX Australia 2012 in Brisbane - it's more design-oriented though.
