The Kirk-Rudy KR Kolorjet will be demonstrated by Grafibind Holland at drupa next month
Grafibind Holland is to present a range of Kirk-Rudy products for the direct mail, newspaper and card industries at drupa, including the new full-colour KR Kolorjet ink-jet printing system.
"[KR Kolorjet] is able to print with high speeds and an outstanding print quality on envelopes, A4 cut sheet and other cut sheet documents," explains Patrick Citroen, managing director and owner of Kirk-Rudy EMEA and India distributor Grafibind Holland.
"The new KolorJet uses the latest thermal ink-jet technology (TIJ4) from HP. Also the speed is impressive. A speed of 150m/min is achievable at 600dpi. This we will demonstrate live at drupa in full speed," he adds.
In addition, the KR687, a system that both encodes and reads magnetic strips in order to print with a Kirk-Rudy UV ink-jet system on cards, will be on display. The KR687 integrates with other Kirk-Rudy modules including turnover systems, feeders and vacuum transport bases.
