Photobooks are one application suited to micro-publishing

The market opportunities for micro-publishers will be presented at a seminar by HP and Creative Printers Network at next month's drupa trade show.

Taking place on May 7th, the session intends to inform publishers, designers, photographers and architects about how digital printing technology can be used to produce short-run, high-quality art books.

"Micro-publishing is not a micro-market but a fast-expanding segment that serves a large audience," says Rafael Kraus, EMEA Indigo photo segment manager, HP. "We hope that HP Indigo customers […] will come to hear and learn from speakers who have found success in micro-publishing."
