Dana Kilarska hopes to see more of the label industry's women join the YMC and attend the congress
The FINAT Young Managers Club (YMC) is holding an international conference in Germany from November 28th to 30th, the first time a global congress has been held by the organisation.
The debut Global YMC Congress is open to both non-members and members of the label industry group for managers aged under 40, and will include presentations, workshops and networking opportunities on the theme of “Young Managers, Let's Challenge the Future'.
"To date we have attracted 63 members from across the globe. They represent a mix of managers from local family-run businesses, but also middle- and higher-level managers from larger label converters and suppliers alike," says Dana Kilarska of Purgina, Slovakia, board member and treasurer of YMC.
"As in our industry in general, we have predominantly male members, hence I'd like to launch a call particularly to all female professionals to join and strengthen our YMC," she adds.
The FINAT YMC will collaborate with Germany's VskE, India's LMAI and the USA's TLMI groups for the Global YMC Congress.
